The Estate (Pt3)
Bart stood, he looked down at the book on his bed, he had mastered the spell, the art of moving objects with his mind, he had memorised several different incantations and now he was going to try them, he inhaled deeply and relaxed, letting out his breath slowly when he was sure he was ready he stepped back onto his bed and lay down, his head pressed into the pillow, he closed his eyes. He tried not to think about how this was going to feel as it would spoil the concentration, the room was quiet, the house was quiet he was calm and relaxed, he said the words he needed to say in his head, slowly, over and over, then instead of “Saying” them to himself, he thought them. There was a difference, slight, but it made all the difference to the incantation. Bart stood, he felt….odd, lighter somehow, there was definitely a discernable difference in how he felt, he turned and looked down, there was no shock it the sight he saw, he just knew, and smiled, there on the bed….was him, seemingly sleeping. He knew he wasn’t sleeping of course, he knew he was thinking this, his thoughts had taken on a form of there own, he had achieved the out of body experience he had sought.
